Participation by Minors

It is illegal for anyone who is not age 18 and older to become a registered edeal member. If you're under the age limit, you must have a registered adult buy or sell items on your behalf.

Contact Information

edeal members are required to maintain valid accounts by keeping their contact information (e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number) up-to-date. This is a vital aspect of creating an honest and secure trading environment for edeal members. Please review your contact information and if it changes, update it from your registration page at your earliest opportunity.

Multiple Accounts and Multiple, Identical Listings

edeal will not allow members to register under more than one account per participant. If at any time you forget your password or other account information, please don't create a new account in an attempt to remedy the situation. Instead, go to your registration page after you have logged on. Your e-mail address will be there already, or you'll have an opportunity to enter it. If you've forgotten your password, there's a link on on the Logon page to help you retrieve it. In addition, sellers may not post multiple, identical listings for sale.

Misrepresentation

edeal expects its buyers and sellers to represent themselves honestly. Posing as another registered member is prohibited. Sellers may not present themselves as a company or other entity if they are selling items as a private individual.

Contact Between Buyers and Sellers

edeal encourage buyers to communicate with sellers by e-mail before purchasing. Open communication facilitates trust. Contact between buyers and sellers must be courteous and limited to transaction details. Inappropriate contact including, but not limited to, attempts to close an edeal sale off-line, is a violation of edeal's Terms and Conditions.

Technical Interference

Buying and selling items normally will not result in technical interference with the edeal.com website. It is a violation of our Terms and Conditions to manipulate auctions or classifieds in any way, including but not limited to, bid shilling, bid shielding and bid siphoning.

Honoring Your Commitment to Buy or Sell

The edeal community thrives when buyers and sellers know they can rely on the success of their transactions. Backing out of a confirmed sale, or failing to deliver paid-for items, is a basic violation of edeal's Terms and Conditions. Buyers can only make purchases, and sellers can only post listings, that can be honored.
